{Q:} The women look so comfortable in front of the camera. I am not like that, can I do this?: {A:} It's my job to make sure you feel comfortable in front of the camera. I direct the entire shoot, posing for every body type, angles and curves, even facial expressions! I know my equipment well. I do as much as each you need. Trust. I know exactly what women will not like in photos. You don't have to know what you're doing, I will prepare your session you the whole way.
{Q:} Where will my photo session take place? Do you have a studio?: {A:} My studio is located in Fortuna. I use several sets with different back drops and I use both natural light and studio lighting. I also do on-location branding sessions, we talk about that in length before your session.
{Q:} On which days of the week can I have my photo session?: {A:} I do consultations via zoom, and book sessions on Saturdays between the hours of 9:00 am - 2 pm.
{Q:} How far in advance should I book my session?: {A:} I recommend booking with me at least one month before needing your finished photos in hand. It's never too early to book! You photo reveal session will happen about 1-2 weeks after your session with final photos delivered upon payment.
{Q:} When and how will I select my favorite images from my shoot?: {A:} One of the most looked forward to and really my favorite part of your experience, will be the in-person photo reveal and ordering appointments a 2-3 weeks after your shoot.

I do in-person reveals for this reason- It's the best way I can help you decide between images, and creating your perfect collection. Every single image is stunning, and even though I show you, your top 25-30 photos, it could sometimes get overwhelming to go through on your own and I don't want you to ever feel that way, my service to you does not end with the photo shoot. It ends with a complete web ready collection.
{Q:} What should I wear?: {A:} I cover styling, wardrobe during consultations and my Beauty & Styling guide gives lots of ideas for outfits. A session typically has up to five outfit changes.
{Q:} Can I have someone with me at my session?: {A:} I understand that sometimes, your best friend is exactly who you need to give you reassurance during your session! I don't mind if there is one friend with you during your session, however, I do ask that your friend not interfere with the shoot, or interrupt for cell phone photos, or directing with posing.

Studio Tour & Consultation

We start with a complimentary tour and consultation at my studio, where I show you my space, my wardrobe collection and some of my work in print. There's no obligation to book after your tour, but if you feel I am the right photographer for you, we'll get to talking details!

Scheduling Your Portrait Session

Most of my sessions start at 9:00 am or 10:00 am. I shoot on Saturdays only.

Designing Your Custom Session

After booking payment is confirmed, I will send you my welcome email. It's usually chalk full with so many juicy details. Beauty & Styling, Brand look books, website reviews, mood boards....just a ton of things to get us both moving towards your customized session.

Your Session Day

I help you along the way to entire session, with posing, direction and comfort. We'll talk, laugh and you'll experience being a model and actually enjoy it!

Your Reveal Session

I will schedule your reveal session about 2-3 weeks after your photo shoot (most times a lot sooner :-)). You'll review your top 25-30 images. I'll help you choose. No worries. :-)
